Diagnodent

The Diagnodent is a dental laser that helps us to locate cavities on some difficult to detect surfaces of back teeth. In the past we had to rely on x-rays and feel which sometimes made it difficult to pick up on certain hard to see cavities. This device uses laser light reflection to quantify how soft the tooth might be just below the surface. This technology has helped us to repair smaller cavities before they become bigger problems or potentially cause tooth pain.
